New TVS Raider 125 to hit the road; Company starting delivery

 The Raider 125 is the latest addition to TVS 'range to include the Honda CB Shine 125, Bajaj Pulsar 125, Hero Glamor and Super Splendor.

The launch of the Raider 125 edition was the answer to the question of why TVS has been left out for so long in this segment which is considered to be the heart of commuter motorcycles.  The company has come up with a new motorcycle aimed at the youth and more modern consumers in the country.

TVS has started delivery for the Raider 125 model which comes with modern features and sporty look. TVS started by handing over the rider to a yoga teacher.

This is a disc brake variant finished in yellow colour. This is the best version in the class and the best in segment features. It comes with features including eco and power riding modes and a reverse LCD digital speedometer.

Priced at Rs 77,500, the new TVS Raider is also available in different variants. The motorcycle will be available in Drum and Disc variants in the color options and options of Striking Red, Blessing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow.

The ex-showroom price in India is Rs 77,000 for the Raider 125 drum brake variant and Rs 85,000 for the disc brake variant. In a few months, it has been announced that TVS will release another variant of the Raider that includes Bluetooth connected features. It will cost around Rs 90,000.

The TVS 'Smart Connect Suite features all the best features, including best-in-class acceleration, first-in-segment ride modes, reverse LCD cluster, optional 5-inch TFT cluster with voice assist, Bluetooth connectivity and voice assist functionality.

The on-board features include under seat storage and ample split seat upgrades. TVS even offers Inteligo technology on commuter motorcycles, which ensures better riding comfort and mileage.

TVS also plans to incorporate EcoTrust Fuel Injection (ETFi) technology into the new rider, which is associated with fuel efficiency, efficiency and reliability, which significantly reduces pollution when the engine is switched off at traffic signals.

The TVS Raider 125 will also feature a side stand indicator with engine immobilizer and helmet reminder. The new bike adopts a bold design style with 3D TVS logo on the styling and tank extension parts.

The bike is divided into three categories: a full size Pill Grab handle, full LED headlamp, angular LED DRLs and LED tail lamps. The TVS Raider comes in alloy wheels with tubeless tires.

The bike also has a ground clearance of 180mm and a seat height of 780mm. The TVS Raider is powered by a new 125cc, air and oil cooled 3V engine. It is capable of producing a maximum of 11.3 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

The TVS features a gas-charged 5-step adjustable monoshock at the rear and a low friction suspension at the front of the rider's suspension setup. It offers a 240 mm disc front and 130 mm drum for braking.

The new Raider 125 bike is located between the Radeon 110 and Apache RTR 160 4V models in the TVS lineup. The company competes with the Bajaj Pulsar 125 NS, Hero Glamour X-TECH, Splendor Plus and Honda Shine in the 125cc motorcycle range.
