Ola Evie is not just a hit but a bumper hit; Scooters worth Rs 1,100 crore were sold in two days

The Ola electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro seem to have become very popular among Indian consumers.  Bhavish Agarwal, CEO of the company, confirmed that electric scooters worth Rs 1,100 crore were sold within two days of the sale.

The booking process for the Ola Electric S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters resumed on September 15 after the process, which was scheduled for the first week of this month, was interrupted. The booking window will be closed by the company at midnight on Thursday.

On the first day, Ola Electric reported selling electric scooters worth around Rs 600 crore, with figures showing that they are selling at least four units per second. On the second day, sales increased by Rs 500 crore.

Bhavish Agarwal, CEO and co-founder of Ola Electric, made the announcement on social media.

The second day of this age was better than the first day! Sales cross 1100 crore in 2 days! He wrote. He added that the purchase window will reopen on November 1, so make a reservation now if you have not already.

Ola Electric now focuses on deliveries of already booked scooters.  The Ola Future factory near Chennai, which is considered to be the largest company in the world for e-scooters, is almost ready to start mass production to meet the demand.

With more than 10,000 strong female workers, Ola Future Factory expects to launch two million units every year in India and overseas markets.

The Ola S1 is priced at Rs 1 lakh while the more capable S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh ex-showroom. The price of electric scooters varies from state to state depending on the subsidies.

The Ola S1 has a range of about 120 km on full charge, while the S1 Pro can travel 180 km on full charge. There are some differences between the two trims. The S1 Pro-10 has more color options available, with a top speed of 115 km / h and a larger battery pack.

The company plans a completely different delivery process. Ola has decided to bring the vehicles directly to the customers' backyards.

While deliveries are possible in this new way, there are many concerns about the service and maintenance of scooters. But Ola Electric has clear plans for all of these speculations. The manufacturers have specified the procedure for booking a scooter service.

Service booking is required from the official application for scooters. Upon successful completion of the booking, the manufacturers will assign a staff member known as an Ola Champion for servicing. Approximate arrival time of the technician service at the customer's home will be available on the app after booking. In this way the servicing of the scooter will take place at the customer's home.

Scooter Predictive AI Maintenance allows customers to receive alerts for maintenance or service via their customers' phones.

The brand claims to be selling its products through the omni channel model, including the online and offline experience centers that Ola is setting up in the country. The manufacturers aim to set up an experience center in every city within the next three months.
