So how does it fare against its closest rival, the Yamaha MT15 , now? We try to answer this question by comparing them in terms of features, hardware and pricing. Styling Before we get to the core of the matter, let’s talk styling. The biggest highlight of the 2021 125 Duke is its design which is identical to the Duke 200. Inspired by the flagship 1290 Super Duke, this look comprises of extremely sharp lines running across its body panels, which is further accentuated by the new funky colour options. The MT15, meanwhile, looks the same since its inception but the design is futuristic nonetheless. Its sports a robotic headlamp, beefy fuel tank section and a stubby tail, all of which looks profoundly distinctive. Features The MT 15 is slightly better in terms of features with a full-LED headlamp and tail lamp and a negative L

Yamaha MT15’s smaller sibling updated for 2021

Image
  - 2021  Yamaha  MT125 revealed - Gets two new colours - Unlikely to be launched in India Yamaha has unveiled the 2021 MT125 for international markets. As part of the model year update, the smaller sibling of the  MT-15  sold in India gets new colours. The  hero  colour consists of blue and grey and is inspired by its bigger siblings- the MT-09 and  MT-07  that were also updated for 2021. Then there is a full-black paint in a matte shade which looks similar to the paint the MT-15 was available in, in India. Besides this, Yamaha has also updated the MT125’s 124cc engine to comply with Euro 5 norms. Nevertheless, the rest of the naked motorcycle remains the same and shares most of its components with the R125 that also received a few changes for 2021. However, Yamaha India is unlikely to introduce the MT125 in our country and will continue to offer the MT15 as its entry-level performance naked motorcycle.

Yamaha Launches New R15 In Malaysia; Is More Powerful Than Indian Version

Image
amaha has officially launched an updated YZF-R15 in Malaysia. As a part of the new model year, the motorcycle gets two fresh colors – Race Blue and Black. The Race Blue is a lot blue-r than before whereas the matte black now comes without the red graphics of the older model. There are no mechanical changes and it continues to be powered by the same 155.1cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine which produces 19.3 PS of peak power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of max torque at 8500 rpm. If you compare that with the Indian spec R15, our version produces lesser power and torque and that is because of the stringent Bharat Stage 6 emission norms that got enforced here earlier this year. The R15 costs  RM 11,988  in Malaysia which converts to 2.13 Lakh in INR. Yamaha also sells the MT25 and R25 in this South Asian market. R15 goes with features like assist and slipper clutch, twin split headlamps, digital instrument cluster, aluminum swingarm and golden colored upside down front forks which t
