Triumph Introduces Tiger 900 Bond Edition; Only 250 units for sale

Triumph Motorcycle Introduces New Ultra-Exclusive Bond Edition Of Tiger 900  The new limited edition model is part of Triumph's official partnership with the James Bond franchise.

The company also said that the motorcycle is part of the celebration of the upcoming 25th '007' James Bond movie 'No Time To Die'. Earlier, Land Rover also unveiled the Bond Edition version of the Defender.

The company has stated that only limited editions of the Defender Bond Edition will be available for sale. When it comes to the Tiger 900 Bond Edition, the model is based on the top-spec Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro.

Due to the limited edition, only 250 units of the motorcycle will be available for sale. Each bike is individually numbered and comes with an authentic signature and certificate. The Tiger 900 Bond Edition is the second limited edition model built in collaboration with the Bond franchise.

Last year, the company released the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition. The Tiger 900 Bond Edition comes with a special matte sapphire black paint scheme and 007 graphics.

The special edition model comes with a premium, billet machine handlebar clamp with the bike's unique limited-edition number. The frame, headlight finishers, side panels, sump guard, cushion footrest hangers, auxiliary lamp shrouds and engine guards all come with a blackout on the bike with a premium and black finish.

Improving the Bond Edition theme, the new Limited Edition Tiger 900 features attractive Bespoke 007 start-up screen animation and Heated Rider Pillion seats in a unique Bond Edition branding.

The new limited-edition model will also include an extra pair of Michelin Anakee Wild off-road tires (in addition to the factory-fitted Bridgestone Battlax tires). In addition, you can expect a premium arrow silencer, steel body and a carbon end cap strap that feature a lightweight brushed stainless motorcycle.

However, in terms of mechanics, the Tiger 900 Bond Edition remains the same as the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. The new Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition is powered by a BS VI standard 888cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine.

This motor produces 95 bhp of maximum power at 8,750 rpm and 87 Nm of maximum torque at 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The motorcycle comes in six different riding modes: Rain, Road, Sporty, Off-Road, Rider-Configurable and Off-Road Pro. As mentioned earlier, only 250 units of the Tiger 900 Bond Edition will be available globally.

However, it is not clear whether this limited edition Triumph motorcycle will be available in India. The company said it will be ready for sale soon in Europe, the US and Canada.

Meanwhile, the company introduced the new Tiger 900 to the Adventure Tourer motorcycle range earlier this year. The model debuted as the successor to the Tiger 800 XR series in the domestic market.

The motorcycle will be available in three variants: GT, Rally (off-road) and Rally Pro. Out of this, the ex-showroom price is Rs 13.70 lakh for the base version, Rs 14.35 lakh for the middle variant and Rs 15.50 lakh for the higher version.
